The History of Deleuran:

once Upon A Time....*

In the autumn of 2001, Peter Deleuran and Anders Hove would take off into the sunset to a remote cottage, far away from the real world. With them they took a couple of guitars and some really good wine. And no, apparently, they didn't share. It was a great escape for them even though on occassion they would have to return to their lives as loving fathers and husbands. This didn't stop the two from taking off back to the cottage whenever they could sneak away.

By the end of 2003, they realised they should have something to show for their behaviour and decided to record the material they had. Thirteen songs with those great topics including: all-Consuming Love, life's hope's and dreams, the darker side of Life in the fast-Lane and more of life's little Theatre. It seemed their suffering paid off.

Peter trekked to france where his old friend Christian Alvad had his own recording studio in the Pyrenees, where he spent roughly four weeks working on the album. Anders, much against his will, stayed in denmark but made sure to call france a couple of times a day for updates, to add a line or two and to make sure peter had the contact information he needed from denmark all the way to the great city of omaha. The three of them worked to make ideas into concrete realities.

Peter and Christian took Luna, the fat-Fat Husky-Dog for a walk one day and ran into Xavier, who plays a mean guitar and Guillame who plays quite the heart-Warming harmonica. Lo and Behold, Peter had been looking for someone to play a raw guitar on the track, "Hunting For Love" and also for someone to play a soft harmonica on the track, "Poor Old Boy From Omaha". It seemed things were coming together.

A lot of things needed to come together and eventually they did. It wasn't easy for them but is it ever easy the first time? All obstacles aside, the group had a lot of fun, they finally got their album and sincerely hope you check it out, give it a listen and enjoy their efforts. Tune in, turn on and if you are going to Omaha, make sure your vehicle has decent suspension.
